This excellent collection of personal stories and professional advice has proved helpful for so many people as they prepare, and ultimately grieve the loss of their beloved companion animals. Dr. Goldberg had the pleasure of meeting Betty Carmack and learning from her at a recent veterinary hospice conference & was thoroughly impressed by her compassionate & expert approach to this topic.
